Dua for Health and Healing

Primary Dua for the Sick

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

Transliteration: Allahumma Rabban-nas, adhhibil-ba'sa, ishfi antash-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifa'an la yughadiru saqama

Meaning: O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the harm. Heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.

Dua for Oneself When Ill

أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَنِي

Meaning: I ask Allah the Almighty, Lord of the Mighty Throne, to heal me. (Recite 7 times)
